Day 1: God is Unchanging

DevotionalIn Mark 5:21-43, we see two incredible stories of faith and healing. Jairus, a synagogue leader, approaches Jesus to heal his dying daughter. At the same time, a woman suffering from a bleeding condition for twelve years reaches out to touch Jesus’ robe, believing in His power to heal her. These stories remind us that God is unchanging and His goodness endures forever. No matter our circumstances, we can trust in His unwavering nature and His ability to bring healing and restoration into our lives.

Bible Verse“Jesus went with him, and all the people followed, crowding around him.” – Mark 5:24

Reflection Question How can you remind yourself of God’s unchanging nature in your daily life?

Quote God still is good. Amen. He hasn’t changed.

Prayer Lord, thank You for being unchanging and always good. Help me to trust in Your constant nature and to seek You in every situation. Amen.

Day 2: Faith in Action

DevotionalThe woman with the issue of blood had suffered for twelve long years, yet she did not give up. She took a bold step of faith by reaching out to touch Jesus’ robe, believing that even this small act could bring her healing. Her story teaches us that faith is not passive; it requires action. We must be willing to step out in faith, even when the odds seem against us, trusting that Jesus can meet us in our desperation and bring about the miraculous.

Bible Verse“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” – Hebrews 11:1

Reflection Question What step of faith can you take today to actively seek Jesus’ help in your life?

Quote Faith is an action word. Faith takes action.

Prayer Jesus, give me the courage to put my faith into action. Help me to trust in Your power and to take bold steps towards You, even when it feels difficult. Amen.

Day 3: Never Give Up

DevotionalJairus faced a dire situation with his daughter on the brink of death. Despite the hopelessness of the situation, he did not give up. He sought out Jesus, believing that He could bring healing. This story encourages us to never give up, no matter how bleak our circumstances may seem. Jesus is always near, ready to intervene and bring hope and healing into our lives.

Bible Verse“When Jesus saw her, he said, ‘Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.'” – Mark 5:34

Reflection Question In what areas of your life do you need to persevere and not give up, trusting that Jesus is near?

Quote Never give up. Never give in. Jesus is passing your way right now.

Prayer Lord, help me to persevere in faith, even when my situation seems hopeless. Remind me that You are always near and ready to bring healing and hope. Amen.

Day 4: Seeing with Eyes of Faith

DevotionalFaith requires us to see beyond our current circumstances and to trust in what we cannot yet see. Jairus and the woman with the issue of blood both demonstrated this kind of faith. They saw with their eyes of faith, believing in Jesus’ power to heal and restore. We too must learn to see with eyes of faith, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot see the evidence with our natural eyes.

Bible Verse“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” – Hebrews 11:1

Reflection Question How can you practice seeing with eyes of faith in your current situation?

Quote We have to see it before we see it. We have to see it with our eyes of faith before we see it with our natural eyes.

Prayer God, help me to see with eyes of faith. Give me the confidence to trust in Your promises and to believe that You are at work, even when I cannot see it. Amen.

Day 5: The Power of Jesus’ Touch

DevotionalBoth Jairus and the woman with the issue of blood experienced the transformative power of Jesus’ touch. Jesus’ touch brought healing, restoration, and even resurrection. This reminds us that Jesus’ power is limitless and that He can bring life to even the most desperate situations. We are invited to reach out to Him, to seek His touch in our lives, and to trust in His ability to bring about the miraculous.

Bible Verse“Taking her by the hand he said to her, ‘Talitha koum!’ (which means ‘Little girl, I say to you, get up!’).” – Mark 5:41

Reflection Question In what areas of your life do you need to experience the transformative power of Jesus’ touch?

Quote Wouldn’t you like Jesus’ super to meet your natural this morning?

Prayer Jesus, I reach out to You today, seeking Your touch in my life. Bring healing, restoration, and new life to the areas where I need it most. Amen.
